Upcycled iMac Aquariums

"The story behind these repurposed machines is that one day at work, Jake Harms was asked to throw out an old G3 iMac but couldn’t bear to do it. So, he took it home with hope of finding a new purpose for the colorful, but broken, computer. And did he ever! After seeing a photo of an iMac Aquarium, Harms exactly knew what he wanted to do."

After many popular requests, Harms also created the iMacquarium Kits.  The aquariums are "build yourself" kits with instructions, which allows the customer to create their own original design.

 So.  Cool.

"Nikolay Glazunov is a Russian photographer who creates extraordinary portraits. In this particular series, called Alexandra, he experiments with projections of 19th-century art and other light projections onto a wall and incorporates a female form into each scene. By combining the flat, painterly colors and scenes with a real life model, Glazunov blurs the distinction between fact and fiction. As a result of this abstraction, the viewer is compelled to create a narrative that defines this tangled combination of time and space."

Fruity Self-Portraits

"With just two and a half years of experience, 16-year-old Spanish photographer Cristina Otero captivates us with these zoomed-in self-portraits. Using fruit as her inspiration in this series entitled Tutti Frutti, Otero disrupts the conventional notions of feminine beauty and interacts with different fruits in a seductive performance for the camera. She draws the viewer in with her wide, innocent eyes while the bold, striking colors of her make-up complement each fruit."
