Living Inside a Bubble

"American photographer Melvin Sokolsky played a major role in the revival of fashion photography in the 1960s. One of his most famous fashion photo shoots was the Bubble series which he shot for Harper’s Bazaar when he was just 21-years-old. The series shows fashion models floating through the air, contained in giant clear plastic bubbles. Some would say that the bubbles would signifying how untouchable these women were from the rest of society or perhaps how isolated they felt."

Just to top it all off -- the most famous bubble-transported character in the theatrical world -- Glinda the good witch.  First in the Wizard of Oz film (1939) and second in a production of Wicked.

Serene Beach

Isac Goulart

I don't know if Isac uses Photoshop or not, but these photos are fantastic! The colors, the shadows and the silhouettes are all perfectly balanced.  Everything seems so natural, but also very put together.  They're obviously shots that have been thought out, but it seems like you're staring into just a normal day of these people's lives.  Also the beaches are just absolutely beautiful.  Very serene.
Visit his website and check out "a Coca-Cola Dream" taken in Miami, Florida. It's definitely one of my favorites.
