The Russian photographer-turned-fashion-designer has us on our knees..  I can't believe this is her first collection and already she's turning heads.  She completely mixes old-fashion with new-fashion to create these articles of clothing.  Simple yet elegant, soft yet fierce.  I also love the way she presents her look-book.  Simple models on a wall-paper backdrop.
She obviously still keeps up her talent as a photographer.
Look at the hairstyles too! (Actually I'm obsessed with this hairstyle....)

Donata Benker

Donata Benker is from Nuremberg; a city in the German state of Bavaria.

I was fortunate to see her works in person at SCOPE Basel 2011.

 Some of these photos were taken by me, so please excuse the quality.

As you can see from the close-up above, she has this watery sense of style, making the art very delicate and soft.  There's something seriously soothing about her paintings.

The happiest place in Claremont.  The scent may be overwhelming but they have the greatest selection of vintage cheeses from all across the world.  Their beer/wine selection is also second to none.  Amazing cheeses for SUPERB prices.

The Farmers' Market
Every Sunday the farmers' market opens in our village: selling fruits, vegetables, jewelry, candles, really anything you can think of!! 

London Calling

Apparently this year's Olympics is the year of amazing graphic designs.
Remember the blog-post on the typography ad-campaign by Charis Tsevis?
Amazing work.
 

And now the tickets are finally out, and I'm loving the design!

Clean lines, great colors. I especially like the opening ceremony one--

 

 I like this year's a lot more than last year's Beijing 2008 Olympic Tickets...

                  Wouldn't you agree??
